How to get it right - Micro or Hands off Manager?

Harvard Business Review recently published a great article about this challenging issue - one that many clients want support with. The role you play as a manager needs to be defined by what you colleague needs from you - that is driven by his/her capabilities, knowledge etc. A book I often recommend to people who are working on this is Leadership and The One Minute Manager - and oldie but good one.
